SuperSport Schools #HereforHER Feature 🩷 💪

In this segment, we celebrate the Girls and Women in our ecosystem, from employees, to school and youth athletes. All the amazing women that contribute to the SuperSport Schools Brand!

This month’s feature is Uthando Themba

Uthando’s path to where she is today has been shaped by resilience and hard work. “Growing up, life wasn’t easy,” she shares. “My mother, barely out of her teens, had to work to provide for me. Her selflessness led me to my grandparents’ loving care. Despite financial struggles, they instilled in me the values of resilience and hard work.”

Education became her beacon of hope, leading her to pursue a degree in Education from UNISA. During this time, she balanced her studies while raising her two-year-old child, drawing strength from her family’s unwavering support. Today, Uthando works on coordinating sporting events and travel arrangements at SuperSport Schools. Her dedication to learning has driven her to further her skills by studying Project Management. She reflects, “My story demonstrates that adversity can fuel determination. Every struggle, every lesson, and every triumph has led me to shine.”

Uthando’s story is a powerful reminder of how resilience, education, and mentorship can transform lives. We’re thrilled to see her thrive and look forward to witnessing her continued growth within the SuperSport Schools family.

#TimetoSHINE✨- November SPOTLIGHT

The St David’s Marist students and cricket stars were born to play the sport, their uncle is Hussein Manack, a former first class cricketer and Cricket South Africa selector. The boys’ talent shone through at an early age, both scoring their first centuries in the same innings in their second U9 match, going on to combine for 230 runs!

They’ve continued to impress and grow inti fine cricketers and have both been selected to represent the Central Gauteng Lions at the Khaya Majola Cricket Week in Cape Town in December.
