Summer Sports Season! ☀️

A change in weather, also brings in a change in sporting season! As we see the leaves grow back on our trees and the sun rise earlier in the morning, we also welcome back the Summer Sports Season!

It’s shaping up to be one that keeps us on the edge of our seats while plugged in to Channel 216 and the SuperSport Schools App. The inaugural Schools SA20 is going to headline this summer sports season, as we’re bringing you schools cricket like never before, the tournament will feature both Boys and Girls school Cricket. The county’s top Water Polo tournaments and festivals are set to take place, giving water-sports fans lots to look forward to, and on the Athletics track we’re expecting to see more records being broken. That’s not all we have for you to look forward to, but a whole host of summer sports!

This month’s second feature in the September SPOTLIGHT on SuperSport Schools is on Simoné Lourens.

With the inaugural Schools SA20 having kicked off earlier this month, the Hoërskool Garsfontein matriculant will be one to look out for!

Simoné has already represented the Titans in the CSA Women’s One Day Cup and has been apart of the SA Women’s U19 Team since she was 15 years old. It’s only a matter of time before her name is called upon to represent the Proteas Women!

The Season comes to SuperSport Schools!

SuperSport Schools is thrilled to announce an exclusive partnership with Onion TV to broadcast all 10 seasons of the highly acclaimed documentary series, "The Season” continuing this week on 18 September with Episode 6 of Season 9 where we’ll follow the journey of St Joseph’s Nudgee College’s 1st XV Rugby team. 🏉
