IPT Season is HERE!🏉🏑🏀🏐
It’s one of the most exciting times of the year for us at SuperSport Schools as we head into IPT season, as usual we have a jam-packed schedule of all the nations top provincial tournaments! From Rugby to Netball and all the best Boys and Girls Hockey, but that’s not all!
In a pioneering effort, SuperSport Schools will stream the U18 Basketball IPT for the very first time. This exciting event will be held in Johannesburg from 1-5 July 2024. Basketball fans can catch all the live action on the SuperSport Schools App, witnessing the skills and excitement of the country’s premier young players as they compete at the highest level.
This is a truly exciting time as we gear up for IPT season, be sure to catch ALL the action on the SuperSport Schools App and DStv channel 216, we look forward to bringing you all with the IPTs you care about most! This month’s SPOTLIGHT on SuperSport Schools is on Bayanda Walaza.
Curro Hazeldean star sprinter Bayanda Walaza already captured the world’s attention when he became the fastest teenager in the world, in the 100m and 200m sprints at the South African Junior Championships in April, as now taken another step in becoming a household name.
The 18-year-old will represent South Africa at the Olympic Games in Paris as part of the 4×100m relay team, a massive achievement at such a young age, the sky is truly the limit for Bayanda and we look forward to seeing him blaze his trail in World Athletics for years to come!

Queen's College is thrilled to announce that the 4Schools1Family Tartan Track has been awarded the prestigious Class 2 Athletics Facility Certificate by World Athletics. This certification confirms that the track meets stringent technical specifications, ensuring high-quality performance and safety. It qualifies the facility to host national-level competitions, attracting top athletes and events. This achievement underscores Queen's College's commitment to providing excellent sports infrastructure and positions the track among the elite athletics venues worldwide. The college extends gratitude to everyone involved in this project, whose hard work and dedication have made this accomplishment possible.
