Airlink has its own Training Centre of Excellence near OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. The Centre is home to two state-of-the-art full-flight level D simulator training devices, one of which is the Embraer E190 simulator, and a brand-new, state-of-the-art Embraer 145 simulator.

This month’s feature is Emma Chelius
Emma, a Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games semi-finalist and South African Women's 50m freestyle record holder (24.64), has represented Team South Africa at five World Championships, two Commonwealth Games, the African Games, and the World Student Games. Known for her passion and dedication to swimming, Emma now joins SuperSport Schools to help inspire and pave the way for the next generation of swimmers. As the host of Swimming on 216 which will be launching in February next year, she will bring the latest updates from the youth Swimming and Water Polo world, showcasing the most exciting galas and tournaments on the 2025 school calendar, and highlight rising stars who are shaping the future of South African swimming. It’s time to shine for tomorrow’s champions!

#TimetoSHINE✨- December SPOTLIGHT
This month’s first feature in the December SPOTLIGHT on SuperSport Schools is Mustafa Gallant
At just 8 years old, Mustafa won the U11 World Amateur Junior Golf Championship in the at the Tower Links Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates which was held from 6-8 December.
An unbelievable achievement at such a young age, the future is bright for Mustafa and we can’t wait to see what he achieves in years to come.

REAL WORLD CHAMPIONS: A SuperSport celebration of incredible people
Johann Meintjes’ powerful story of Olympic redemption sets the tone as Your World of Champions launches Real World Champions with a five-part video series.
Viewers are encouraged to identify and share stories of Real World Champions within their communities. To submit your Real World Champion(s) for consideration, send an email to [email protected] detailing in no longer than 500 words why your proposed candidate deserves to be profiled by SuperSport.
Provide a referral and any other supporting documentation. Submissions will be accepted from 09 December until 30 March 2025
